G-Clef da Mad Komposa – Black Beatles (jazz cover)

Alto Saxophonist/Producer G-Clef da Mad Komposa brings his innovative touch for a new generation in 2017 with a soulfully creative cover of Rae Sremmurd’s #1 hit song “Black Beatles”. Produced and performed exclusively by G-Clef himself on Alto Saxophone, as well as keyboards, programming, and soprano saxophone. This version is at once an artistic rendering, rather than the typical imitative or genre-bending styles of covering hit songs. This is a complete reinterpretation by a seasoned jazz musician and hip-hop producer, with credits ranging from Illinois Jacquet to Wu-Tang. G-Clef considers this the direction millennial jazz must go in, for it to survive and flourish.
