For decades, G-Clef da Mad Komposa has quietly built a reputation as one of underground Hip-Hop’s most versatile producers, remixers, and musical architects. Now, Chambermusik opens the vaults once again to present a collection of rare recordings, demos, remixes, and underground classics spanning the golden era of 1990s Hip-Hop.
This release showcases a side of G-Clef’s catalog that many fans have only heard rumors about: early Soul Kid Klik material, long-lost demo recordings, major-label remixes, and collaborations with artists who helped shape the independent underground movement. Featured throughout are appearances by GZA, Gravediggaz, Onyx, Weldon Irvine (Master Wel), Joaquin da Blak Spik, Deadly Fam, Reckanize, Dr. Ring Ding, and Soul Kid Klik.
More than a compilation, this is a snapshot of a time when underground Hip-Hop thrived on creativity, originality, and raw lyricism. From rare demos to official remixes commissioned by Geffen and Def Jam, these recordings capture an important chapter in the history of the Soul Kid movement and G-Clef’s production legacy.
